We believe that the area of Spennymoor and its surrounding villages has much to offer the visitor, both in terms of the facilities available within the Township and as a base for exploring the wider area of County Durham and the North of England.
We have included in this part of our website some information on things to do for our visitors. This includes places of interest in the wider area of the North East as well as sports and leisure facilities within Spennymoor. We identify places of worship as well as details of cafes and restaurants, pubs and hotels, and places to stay.
There are also details of services available, such as local authorities, banks, rail and bus services, libraries, post offices etc.
Work is progressing on completing these details which will be available very soon.
