SECONDARY EDUCATION IN SPENNYMOOR FROM SEPTEMBER 2012

As you will be aware Durham County Council has been working closely with Governors and staff at Tudhoe Grange School and Spennymoor Comprehensive School to make plans for one single school being established on the site of the existing Spennymoor Comprehensive School (Whitworth Lane) from September 2012. The single site school will have a new name.

The County Council invited ideas or comments from the public on this proposal, and an Information Sharing Evening was held on 20th June 2011 in Spennymoor Town Hall. 

A copy of the consultation document outlining proposals for the single school is attached below for information. The deadline for comments has now passed.
