Entertainment commences at noon with a display from the Black Rock Llamas, Pree Hee Men and the incredible Vander Space Wheel.

It's A Knockout 
Once again we have It's A Knockout Competition in the Main Arena from noon until 3.00p.m. with local companies competing against each other and having lots of fun. Ice Rink (Synthetic) - Saturday and Sunday
This year we have our very own synthetic ice rink. Only £1.00 for a 20 minute session including skate hire.
Skating times: Saturday: 12 noon - 7.00p.m. Sunday: 11.00a.m. - 6.00p.m.

Stage - Saturday
The stage this year will be host to professional artists as well as the final of 'PETERLEE SHOW'S THE XTRA FACTOR'.

Stage entertainment will start at 3.30p.m. and continue until 10.00p.m. on Saturday 3rd September.

5.15p.m. - 6.15p.m. 'KAREN KENNEDY'
6.30p.m. - 7.30p.m. 'THE SUGAR B's'
7.45p.m. - 8.45p.m. 'THE ARRIVAL'
9.00p.m. - 10.00p.m. 'CENTRAL PARK'
The team from SUN FM will be with us this year to promote the event on air and to act as our PA for the weekend.
PLEASE NOTE:
You are welcome to bring your own picnics etc, however, GLASSES AND GLASS BOTTLES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED ON THE SHOWFIELD. Any glass seen on the Showfield will be removed by security. This is to ensure a safe and happy weekend for all!
The Pavilion Bar will be open throughout the weekend.
Companion Dog Show and Horticultural Open Show
Both Shows receive considerable attention from our visitors who like to compete and hope to win prizes. Once again this year you will find a children's section in the Horticultural marquee, open to children aged up to 11 years. Any child interested in gardening can win prizes for their own work. A copy of the schedule can be found at Shotton Hall, Old Shotton, Peterlee; Peterlee Information Centre in the Town Centre or Eden Lane Cemetery Office.
Arts & Crafts Fair - Saturday
Table Top Sale - Sunday
Peterlee Show has been host of the Peterlee Arts & Crafts Fair for 30+ years and will hold this annual event at the Showfield on Saturday 3rd September. A popular event within the Show programme, attracting 1,000's of people through the marquee, it would be a shame to miss some of the beautiful crafts on sale. Application forms for craftspeople canbe found by scrolling to the bottom of this page.
Sunday sees a 'mixed bag' of sellers from crafts, car booters and voluntary organisations all together in one marquee.
Crafts/Cookery Open Show Competitions (adults and children) - Friday and Saturday
The Open Show competitions include classes for all types of craft and many for cookery, to include a new class this year for a healthy recipe. Cash *prizes are on offer for the adults and prize vouchers for children. Call into the Information Centre or The Pavilion at Helford Road for a schedule from April onwards, or scroll to the bottom of the page to download a copy.
*prize money will be forwarded by cheque
Football Tournament - Saturday
2011 will be the fifth year of our football tournament for local schools. Taking place within its own arena on Saturday starting at 12.00 noon, there will be plenty of spectators.
Fun Run - Sunday 11.00a.m.
Why not take part in our Fun Run? Approximately 2 miles around the Denes and back, fun for all the family. Prizes to be won for adults and children. Entry forms available now by contacting Janet Hugill on (0191) 5182295
Parade - Saturday 10.30.a.m.
The Parade marches through Peterlee from the Leisure Centre at 10.30a.m. to the Showfield, with the streets thronged with spectators, jazz bands, pipe band, brass band and a mix of children and adults from various organisations all taking part.
Fun Fair - Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Nobles will once again be onsite this year to provide a thrilling source of enjoyment for all the family.
St. John Ambulance - Save a Life in September
Make your way to see the St. John Ambulance representatives who will be giving demonstrations throughout the weekend showing basic skills in life saving techniques.
Marquees
As well as our Horticultural and Arts & Crafts marquees, we also have marquees dedicated to: Community Life, Voluntary Organisations and Well Being.
