Main Arena
This year see’s It’s a Knockout Competition in the Main Arena between 1.00 – 3.00pm on Saturday afternoon, with local companies competing against each and having lots of fun, for an application form or more details please contact Janet Hugill on 0191 5182295.

The Circus
The Circus comes to Town for the weekend, 8 performances over the 2 days for all the family to watch, workshops available in between performances for adults and children to learn the circus skills. Free tickets available on the days of the performances only.
Performance times are as follows for both Saturday & Sunday
12.00noon – 12.45pm
13.30pm – 14.15pm
15.00pm – 15.45pm
16.15pm – 17.00pm
Stage
The stage will this year be host to professional artists as well as a performance from Maldo Productions.
Stage entertainment will start at 4pm and continue on until 10.00pm when will will end our Saturday night with a fantastic fireworks display.

The team from Sun Fm will be with us this year to promote the event on air and to act as our PA for the weekend.
Companion Dog Show and Horticultural Open Show
Both Shows receive considerable attention from our visitors who like to compete and hope to win prizes, new to this year in the Horticultural is our children’s Section, aged up to 11 years, all children interested in gardening can win prizes for their own work. A copy of the schedule can be found at Shotton Hall Banqueting Suites, Peterlee Tourist Information Centre or Eden Lane Cemetery Office.
Football & Rugby
2010 will be the fourth year of our football tournament for local schools. Taking place within it’s own arena on Saturday starting at 1.30pm, there will be plenty of spectators. Adding to this year will be our first Touch Rugby Tournament taking place on the Sunday, for all the family to take part in.
Fun Run
Why not take part in our Fun Run , sponsored by Hays Travel this year, approximately 2 miles around the Denes and back, for all the family, prizes to be won for adults & children.

Parade
The Parade marches through Peterlee from the Leisure Centre to the Show Field, with the streets between thronged with spectators, Jazz bands, Pipe Bands, Brass Bands, Stilt Walkers and a mix of children and adults from different organisations all taking part.
Fun Fair
Nobles will once again be onsite this year to provide the most thrilling rides for our visitors, proving to be a constant source of enjoyment for all of the family, residents flock to the field to have some fun.
Marquees
As well as our Horticultural Marquee we also have marquees dedicated to; Community Life, Arts and Crafts, Voluntary Organisations and new for this year a ‘Well Being’ Marquee, a visit to this marquee is a must !! .
