Kangaroos Gymnastic Display Team "The best act we have ever seen" - Netley Marsh Steam Rally, July 2006 .The Kangaroos are one of the best arena acts available and have been performing for 26 years. They give two different displays. The Main Display, lasting approximately 35 minutes, is a vaulting display of seven different moves, which includes over 250 somersaults, some over a car, using trampolines, trampettes and high trestles. The Comedy Display is a classic "Keystone Kops" type Victorian routine in period costumes, lasting about 15 minutes. They have appeared at most of the major shows in Britain including the Durham County Show, Shrewsbury Flower Show, The Southsea Show, Northampton Balloon Festival, Town & Country Festival at Stoneleigh and the Battle of the Flowers in Guernsey and twice for the British Army in Germany. They have also made over 15 television appearances including "You Bet!", "Blue Peter" (twice) and "The Big Breakfast". The best and most versatile gymnastics display in Britain.
- Amanda & Tony Brutus Strength Speciality The complete family show. Amanda and Tony, a unique father and daughter act. Amanda is a current Guinness World Record Holder and the strongest girl in the world for her weight. Tony is a former strength champion and has over 50 TV appearances and films to his credit. Some of the amazing feats of strength they present include Amanda pulling, just with her teeth, a full size Roman Chariot fully laden with three members of the audience standing inside. Tearing telephone directories and lifting 200lbs with her teeth. She then lifts up the chariot with the heaviest member of the audience sitting inside. Many more feats are presented in this unusual act, including Tony testing his neck strength using four strong men pulling on a rope around his neck.
On Sunday we will see two new acts to entertain you..

North East Motor Salvage Battle of the Bands
For more information about the North East Motor Salvage Battle of the Bands, please follow this link: www.sun-fm.com/features/116474/html
North East Motor Salvage (NEMS) has enjoyed a fine reputation in the dismantling/salvage business in excess of 20 years. Throughout its life it has kept a high profile at the forefront of the market.
NEMS was the first site in the North of England to obtain its Environment Agency license, leading the way for others to follow.
The company has built a close association with sister companies involved in waste management and skip hire. This has highlighted and hones the company preception of waste/landfill considerations.
NEMS strength concentrates mainly in the Northumberland/Tyne and Wear/Durham/Teeside/Cleveland areas. They collect around two and a half thousand vehicles a year varying from a few days old to the more usual 'end of life vehicles' (ELVs).
We've got a fantastic opportunity to showcase your band on SunFM. Every band that enters will have their profile and demo on the 'Peterlee Show Battle of the Bands' page on the SunFM website.
