Etherley is located in the heart of County Durham approximatley 5.5 miles south west of Durham and to the west of Bishop Auckland, on the outskirts of Teesdale and on the borders of Wear Valley.

By Car
From Durham, head west on gilesgate/A181. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Leazes Road/A690. at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto New elevt, continue onto Hallgarth St. at the roundabout, take the 2cnd exit onto Stockton Road/A177. turn left at South Road/A177 and continue to follow the A177. At the Cock O' the North Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Front Street/B6288 and continue to follow the B6288. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A688. Turn right at St Andrew's Road/B6282 and continue to follow the B6282. Go through 1 roundabout until you arrive at your destination.
