Castle Eden is located in a picturesque part of County Durham, close to the East Coast.The village is one of the most attractive in the County with an interesting history.
Although we are close to the coast, Durham, Sunderland and Hartlepool are easily accessible in under 30minutes. Find us just South of Peterlee on the A19.
Parish Councillor Vacancies
The Parish Council have two vacancies for office of Parish Councillor by reason that an insufficient number of candidates were nominated at the Parish Council election on 2 May 2013.
The Council will fill these vacancies by co-option and request that interested parties apply in writing to the
Parish Clerk by 31 May 2013.
