Allotments

The Town Council manages five allotment sites within Barnard Castle providing a total of 83 plots.  If you would like to view photographs of any of the Allotments sites please visit the Allotments Section of our Photo Gallery.

Crook Lane

This site provides 6 plots and is situated on the Southern part of Barnard Castle behind The Bowes Museum adjoining Kalafat.

Harmire Road

This site provides 16 plots and is situated on the Northern edge of Barnard Castle adjacent to Maudes Garage.

Town Head (off Victoria Road)

This site provides 9 plots and is situated on the Eastern side of Barnard Castle off Victoria Road.  The entrance is adjacent to the Ambulance Station.

The Demesnes

This site provides 33 plots and is situated on the Southern edge of Barnard Castle opposite The Bowes Museum.

Raby Avenue

This site provides 19 plots and is situated on the Western edge of Barnard Castle adjoining Flatts Wood.
